Re:Build today announced plans to triple its Rock Hill, S.C., footprint with an approximately $20 million investment in a 130,000-square-foot advanced manufacturing facility.

The new facility significantly expands the company’s capacity and range of capabilities to meet surging demand in the aerospace, defense, energy and electrification, medical, robotics and other industrial markets. The investment will create 150 new jobs by 2028.

The facility’s powerful suite of advanced capabilities includes a state-of-the-art clean room for precision composite fabrication, additional cold storage, and an enhanced quality lab. New advanced machining includes a vertical machine mill a new heat treat oven for specialized thermal processing, and an expanded paint booth to keep pace with accelerating demand.

The expansion has been supported in part by a $100,000 grant from the South Carolina Department of Commerce, reflecting the state’s continued investment in advanced manufacturing and job creation.

“Our customers are scaling faster than ever, and we are scaling with them,” said Miles Arnone, Co-founder & CEO, Re:Build. “By investing in these capabilities, we’re giving our customers the capacity, speed, and consistency they need to move complex programs from development into full-rate production at unmatched scale.”

“South Carolina continues to strengthen our manufacturing footprint, giving companies like Re:Build the confidence to expand here. We are proud to support the company’s ongoing success and look forward to the impact these 150 new jobs will have in York County,” said South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster.

With the new capacity, Re:Build can take on more complex, higher-volume programs without compromising quality and precision. The Rock Hill investment is part of Re:Build’s broader strategy to rapidly expand advanced manufacturing capacity across its network of businesses.
